January 24, 2012 - Vol. 11, No. 1 Happy 2012 & year of the Water Dragon. First - thank you so much! I really appreciated the wonderful emails you sent in response to my question: What's happening for you? A lot of you said you were experiencing (or had experienced) big changes. Many of you really wanted to get a grip on pervasive fear, and have a more positive relationship with the uncertainty many of you (and many people you know) are experiencing. Quite a few of you said you wanted to shift your perspective about money (and ease up the financial constriction you've experienced) while powering up an authentic livelihood. And almost everyone said that you felt called to transform ... consciously ... so that you feel like you're being authentic and true to who you're here to be. I hear you, really. I've experienced these things, too. As always, I've gathered (and continue to gather and experiment with) handy practices that I've found really helpful in: • getting a grip on the Fear Demon, • shifting my thought-habits (from fear, worry and 'worst case' anticipation, to a more calm, present-moment, positive-anticipation), and • navigating change, challenge & the uncertainty of transformation with a bit more ease, joy, and wonder. Believe me -- if you knew my story (it's shared here in bits and pieces), you'd know how amazing and near-miraculous that is! How about the rest of you? What's on your list? So, here we are ... in 2012. Will 2012 be a year of change and upheaval like all of those prophecies suggest? The macro-energies -- and the 'previews' -- suggest a very definite 'yes'. Will 2012 be a year rich with possibility and consciousness shifts? Again, a very likely 'yes'. It's up to us how we surf the waves. So I *really* appreciate the practices that help clear the funk, ease-up the fear, and keep me centered, calm, and tapped into the Well of Wisdom.
