Ivy SeaZine - You ARE an Intuitive, Visionary Genius

Do you consider yourself to be visionary? Intuitive? Creative? Having some unqiue genius? Do you sense these gifts calling for greater expression -- personally or organizationally?

The brilliant filmmaker, Godfrey Reggio, told an interviewer, "If you give up your imagination, if you give up your ability to create for the wages of a good job, then you might give up that which predicates us as human beings, the ability to create our own lives."

Being 'visionary' is often put into the same category as being creative, intuitive, imaginative, or a genius. It's something that 'someone else' is; that special gift reserved for only a few.

Except that vision, creativity, intuition, and imagination aren't just reserved for just a few, though they are gifts. They're gifts endowed to each one of us, awaiting reclamation and use in a time and on a planet that needs those gifts exercised, shared, given in a spirit of Love and generosity.

Yes, some people may come into this life a bit more 'hard-wired' for one or all of them, and others may find themselves 'opened up' to their visionary, intuitive, imaginative, genius nature by some life event, trauma, or radical transformation. But everyone has the capacity for vision, intuition, and genius -- and yes, that means you.

It's what truly distinguishes you; what sets you apart. It's that which no one but you can do, or a way of doing or being that only you can do or be, as an individual, and as a group or organization.

I hear, too often, people telling me they're not visionary, or intuitive, or imaginative, nor do they have a unique genius, at least not that they can tell.

In these people -- as is or has been the case with many of us (particularly in the Western culture) -- it's more a matter of the gifts being blocked by fear, conditioning, limiting beliefs, or patterns. The gifts are there, waiting for the debris to be cleared and to be found and used once more.

Why is this important? As you may already sense, it's our very gifts of vision, intuition, imagination, and genius -- once liberated and reclaimed -- that will illuminate new visions, new options, new possibilities, new solutions in these times when old ways of doing things just won't work.
