"Ivy Sea Online is my communication toolkit."
Karen Carney, former channel manager, inc.com
Since 2001, Ivy Sea, Inc. has been a content partner for Inc.com, with the latter tapping Ivy Sea Online content for reprint and distribution through Inc.com.
Inc.com, Incorporated, the nationally-recognized web community for entrepreneurs and online sibling of Inc. Magazine, sought out and selected San Francisco-based Ivy Sea, Inc. (formerly InnoVision Communication) as a content partner for their online business resource center. Both Ivy Sea Online and Inc.com appeared on a "Best of 1999 Sites" list in About.com's Entrepreneur community, and continue to receive positive reviews and recommendations as high-quality content portals for leaders and entrepreneurs.
Ivy Sea Online continues to be a preferred content-partner for Inc.com, even after Inc. reorganized its online portal and downsized the number of vendors, keeping active partnerships with the "cream of the crop," which included Ivy Sea Online, according to Inc.com content manager, Carol Matthews.
"When looking for great content partners, we aim for companies like Ivy Sea that have already been singled out and rewarded in their industry or in the larger world of entrepreneurship," said Karen Carney, who was, at the time, the channel manager for leadership and strategy at inc.com. "I was searching for an entrepreneurial online community that celebrated smart, mindful communication and entrepreneurship."
"We were, and continue to be, thrilled to partner with Inc.com to help bring a variety of mindful leadership and communication skill-building resources to entrepreneurs," said Jamie Walters, Ivy Sea's founder and vision-keeper. "We had a strong alignment with Inc.coms mission of making high-quality, real-world information available on the web."
Inc.coms content managers initially identified 34 articles from Ivy Sea Online for Inc.coms immediate information-sharing goals, and taps new content from Ivy Sea Online throughout the year. Ivy Sea articles, tutorials and tip sheets on inc.com cover topics ranging from conscious entrepreneuring, interpersonal and listening skills, employee and customer communication, and inspired leadership, visioning and planning.
"Of all the content partnerships we have forged here, representing a near mountain of useful information for our users, I can't remember being more excited and personally connected to a partnership," said Bruce Kohl, former Inc.com channel manager for personal and professional development, about the Ivy Sea, Inc. and Inc.com collaboration. "I am thrilled to be a part of this!"
"Ivy Sea Online's content is terrific," added Carney. "The articles are crystal clear and immediately useful, the range of topics is broad, and their advice is forward-thinking while also being practical and real-world."
According to Carney, Inc.com user feedback had suggested that the Ivy Sea content also speaks directly to companies where leaders, managers and employees alike want to "walk the talk." Readers can find Ivy Sea articles in the Inc.com Advice section, or visit our entire resource center at Ivy Sea Online. Both sites feature regularly updated content.
Ivy Sea Online is also a content partner to CEO Refresher, and has received positive acclaim from HarvardBusiness School; About.com's Entrepreneur, Human Resources, and Small Business Guides; and many others.
