In ancient times, when mysticism, spirituality, and an awareness of 'all things connected' were woven deeply into the fabric of life — not separate from the disciplines of reason, science, or business — centers for rejuventation, vision, clarity, and wisdom existed.

People would go to these centers to guide them in troubled times or periods of great transformation, and then take that new dream, vision, and wisdom back out into the world. These oases were called Asklepions.

The Sophialon is an evolution of Ivy Sea, inspired by the Asklepion and our own experience, with Sophia — revered as Wisdom embodied — as a guiding influence, as she (by many of her names) was in those ancient times.

We are living in times of great transformation, with an equally great need to restore Wisdom, vision, imagination, insight, intuition, and a remembrance of our connection with all beings and the sacredness of all things — including our work, our relationships, and our own authentic way of showing up in the world.

By including once more the wisdom from ancient and Indigenous traditions — interpreted for our modern world — we can restore our long-severed connection to Spirit, an awareness of all things as sacred, and in that way restoring the necessary harmony, or healthy balance, in the world.

The Sophialon offers personal and organizational consultations, and other services to inspire, guide, and cultivate wholeness which can then be expressed as wise, healing action in the world — including the Marketplace.
